We will participate in the following ways: Duck out of Work Early Employees can duck out of work early on by adopting 4 racing ducks for the Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby. Jeans Day Employees can wear jeans on casual Friday on by adopting 4 racing ducks for the Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby. Duck Adoption Team Our volunteer team will form a Duck Adoption Team to sell duck adoptions for the Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby. Employees will promote adoption papers, forward email announcements, set up sales booths, etc. with friends and associates to encourage duck adoptions from August 1 through October 1. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for the 17th Annual Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby! We could not hold this event without the wonderful volunteers who help make it special. To ensure that all of our volunteers have a meaningful experience, we must ask that you observe the following rules: All event volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers under the age of 18 may not enter Wild Rivers Waterpark prior to park opening at 11 am. Children of volunteers are welcome to attend, however children may not enter the Waterpark prior to 11 am, and each child must adopt a duck for entrance, and be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied children at the entrance to the Waterpark is not acceptable. The total number of volunteers is limited. After capacity has been reached, prospective volunteers will be added to a waiting list.
